Official Visit of Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha to Azerbaijan

šŸ“ On May 24–25, Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha paid an official visit to Baku.

šŸ”¹ During the visit, the Minister was received by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. The sides held a meaningful discussion on strategic partnership, regional security, and humanitarian support.

šŸ”¹ He also held talks with Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov. The discussions focused on trade, investment, and energy cooperation, with particular attention given to Azerbaijan’s role in Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction.

šŸ”¹ Andriy Sybiha met with Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov to discuss security challenges, including recent Russian air attacks on Ukrainian cities, and joint energy projects.

šŸ”¹ As part of the visit, the 101st Ukrainian-language audio guide in the world was presented in Baku — this time at the Surakhani tanker museum on the Caspian Sea. The initiative is implemented under the patronage of First Lady Olena Zelenska.

šŸ”¹ The Minister also visited the November 8 Memorial and Martyrs’ Alley, honoring the memory of those who fought for Azerbaijan’s independence.
