Kyiv Boryspil Express Completes 1,000 Trips

The Kyiv Boryspil Express high-speed train has completed over 1,000 trips and transported 30,000 passengers, according to the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.

The company emphasized that the express service adheres to its schedule 99.6% of the time and plans further development of the project. In 2019, a stop at the Vydubychi station is planned, with the construction of a dedicated platform for this purpose. This will connect the metro with the express train and Boryspil Airport.

Currently, 27 pairs of trains operate daily on the Kyivā€“Boryspil Airport route. This number will be adjusted based on passenger demand.

Earlier, it was reported that the express runs 24/7. However, during its first month of operation, Ukrzaliznytsia adjusted the trainā€™s schedule, reducing the number of nighttime trips.

On October 25, during a trial trip, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan inspected the completion of the construction. They expressed their satisfaction with the service.
