A Soldier of the Ukrainian Army of Azerbaijani Origin Has Been Killed

A soldier of the Ukrainian army of Azerbaijani origin has been killed.
Thirty-nine-year-old Fuad Mammadov, who lived in Ukraine, died in the battles for the city of Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region.
This was reported on Facebook by our compatriot from Ukraine, Anar Agazade.

According to him, Fuad Mammadov’s father once served as a military doctor.

“Our shehid (martyr) is the nephew of the military journalist Agasi Gun Mammadov, well known to many from the First Karabakh War. May the Almighty rest his soul,” Agazade noted.

He added that Fuad’s younger brother, Rasim, is currently also fighting for the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
